03 - I would like to visit...

Hi! This post is about a place that I would like to visit. Well, I have a critical point of view about travelling, because people try to know about other places and they don't know the place where they live! In that sense, I try to know about Santiago and its surrounding area. 

In any case, if I could save money, I would like to visit France. I don't care about the romance, French girls, architecture, beautiful cities or parks (and hey! they have beautiful things)... I would want to know the Parisien subway (RATP, Mêtro) and travel at TGV trains! Santiago Metro trains are French models, so, for me it's interesting to know the differences or photograph these trains. But, if I could save money, probably, I would think that there are more important things... buy a house, buy a car, help my family, pay the future university of my sister.

Probably, I will try to know more about Santiago surrounding area and travel to different cities and places of Chile. Chile is a beautiful country, we have desert, fruitful valleys, dense forest, waterfalls, glacier and because our longitudinal form, we have different climate and way of life! 

Chile is a treasure, although our authorities are not the best.

02 - My ideal job!

Hello everybody! Teacher asks me to write about my ideal job. Well, I am studying, so I haven't done many jobs in my life. 

I was working examining Spanish and History tests (like an editor, I inspect the writing, level of difficult questions and propose some others). I was volunteer and I taught History to other classmates to prepare the PSU test. For so many years I was a sales person, my merchandise was biscuits, candies, and other things. And now, I am Customer Asistant for the subway, I have really loved all my jobs, I am so lucky, thanks to God.

In any case, I think that the best job is that one that allows you to use your abilities and capacities, specially when you enjoy doing it and you motivate yourself! An ideal job would imply to allow you to have a regular rest, free time for hobbies and money to do activities with your family or your girlfriend. My teacher is right when she says that it's important the working environment, when you have the confidence of your boss or colleagues, relationships with respect and trying to do the job in a better way. 

I am happy working for the subway trains and passengers. I could talk with train drivers, station boss, another colleagues, security guards, cleaners. I could see the last train of the day and feel that emotion. Actually, it's my paradise!

01 - Introducing Myself

Hi everybody! This is a new Blog for the English class. The teacher ask us for write a post about ourselves. I am Ariel Cruz. I study Public Administration at University of Chile. I love public transport, some social topics, culture, psychology, economy and photography. I am so tidy. I would like to work in a Ministery, specially if it is Transports and Telecommunication, Economy or have an important job in Santiago Metro. I don't know. Maybe I am dreaming hahahaha.

I wanted to continue the study of English language because I had good marks in the last semester and I would like to have a certification. I recognize that my weakness is the listening comprehension, I am slow for understand to English speakers or to recognize the words. In other hand, I like to read and write in English, I feel sure about myself in these type of exercises. I hope to improve my skills in all type of exercises and, if it is possible, I want to improve my listening comprehension too.
